About the Baldwin Housing Commission
The Housing Commission administers:
86 Public Housing Units
76 Units for Seniors or disabled – Near Elderly Age is 50
- 1 bedroom units – Phase I and II (Utilities are included)
- Pay 30% of adjusted income
- Phase III (pay your own heat and electric –DTE and Consumers Energy)
- Pay 30% of adjusted income, less Utility Allowance
- Free laundry service in each building (Subject to Change)
4 – 4 bedroom units – 1 ½ bath
- Pay 30% of adjusted income
- Plus Heat (DTE) and Electric (Consumers Energy)
6 – 3 bedroom units – 1 bath
- Pay 30% of adjusted income Plus Heat and Electric
