The Baldwin Housing Commission assists Low Income Families, Seniors & Disabled People with affordable Housing. Our units are well kept and our friendly staff is available 5 days a week from 9 a.m. – Noon and again from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In addition to our Family Homes and Senior Apartments we also assist an average of 180 Low Income Families with Rental Assistance in Lake County, Baldwin School District, cities of Scottville, Ludington, Reed City, Big Rapids and nearby areas at the Housing Commissions Discretion.
The Baldwin Housing Commission announces that on 5/1/2020 the PHA shall make available for public review a draft copy of components of its 5-Year Agency Plan per the guidelines of 24 CFR 903, a requirement of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998.
These documents will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Baldwin Housing Commission administration office located at 105 Fournier Drive, Baldwin, Michigan for a period of approximately 45 days.
The Baldwin Housing Commission has scheduled a public hearing to be held on 6/16/2020 at 4:30 p.m. in the community room at 105 Fournier Drive. At this time, the Baldwin Housing Commission shall receive and consider any and all comments prior to finalization of their agency plan for submission to HUD on or before 7/15/2020.
